Today was Michael's 3rd soccer game. We were not sure how he was going to do. He was tired after getting to bed very late Friday night and having a 9:00 AM game. He started out acting very goofy which he does when he is tired and he was not paying attention. They were short on players today so Michael was on the field about 75% of the game....although not necessarily paying attention the whole time. Well, finally about 1/2 way through the game he got his first game goal!!!! He has gotten a couple of goals during practice, but today was BIG! He was so excited and we were so proud. Unfortunately we don't have pictures since I was using the video camera...and I JUST missed the goal on the video too!!!! The coaches wife did get it, so hopefully we will get a copy of this. I just moved the camera a little too slow so I did not get it. :(
No games or practice until after spring break.

Smoke from shuttle
finished product
Spring is here!
Sunday we had a nice day....it was sunny and about 82. Michael helped Mommy in the yard...or tried to anyway. I raked the leaves in the front yard. (Now they just need bagged). We also planted 1 shrub (still have to plant our jasmine shrub) and 4 pots of flowers. We put our flags out etc. I don't do yard work often, but it looks so much better. Now we just need to work on the back yard!

Michael's first soccer game
Michael had his first soccer game today. Just as we expected he was off in la la land. He did have fun and got near the ball a couple of times. Since they can only have 6 out of 10 players on the field, he did spend time on the bench. We enjoyed watching and he had fun. He got his favorite #5, and they are called "Blue Lightening". The kids voted on the name at the first practice.
